Travis Dyer started a Ph.D. in accounting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. Prior to the Kenan-Flagler Business School, he received a Master's in accounting, a B.S. in accounting, and a minor in economics from Brigham Young University. During his time at Brigham Young University, he taught introductory accounting.
Travis’ research interests broadly include (1) financial reporting and disclosure, (2) securities regulation, and (3) information retrieval by capital market participants.
Outside of research and teaching, Travis enjoys the outdoors, boating, college sports, and spending time with his wife and children.
